Elon Musk’s satellite internet service, Starlink, will begin operations in India within the next two months after getting a licence last week, according to ANI.
Starlink is the third company to receive a licence from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), after Eutelsat’s OneWeb and Reliance Jio.
Pricing and Free Trial for StarLink
To attract customers, Starlink will offer a one-month free trial with the purchase of its device. After the trial, users will pay ₹3,000 per month for unlimited internet.
The satellite dish needed for the service will cost around ₹33,000.
